The studio was founded by “Tina”, a fully trained cosmetologist with over 30 years of experience in hair care and braiding artistry. Tina began braiding hair at a young age, turning a natural talent into a lifelong passion and professional skill.
Before relocating to the United States, Tina successfully owned and operated a hair salon in South Africa, where she built a reputation for quality work and dedication to her clients. Over the years, she has worked with people from many different backgrounds and hair textures, gaining valuable experience and deep knowledge of hair care.
For many years, Tina provided braiding services part-time, but her passion for helping people look and feel their best led her to take the next step. Today, she proudly operates Tina’s Professional Braiding Studio full-time, dedicating her time and expertise to serving her community. Although Tina is a fully trained cosmetologist, she currently focuses on professional braiding, dreadlocks, micro-locks, and more. Each style is created with careful attention to hair health, neatness, comfort, and long-lasting beauty. Tina’s goal is not only to style hair but to create an experience where every client feels respected, confident, and valued.
